| | Yesterday, I had the day off to go to the first day of the 2008 Vans Warped Tour at the Pomona Fairplex. I had a chance to check out a lot of bands. It was a scorcher day, and me applying and re-applying sunblock throughout the day prevented me from getting the dreadful "racoon eyes." Driving in and parking at this venue was way better than what I experienced last year at the Home Depot Center in Carson. Some of the bands I enjoyed were: We The Kings, Relient K, The Higher, Set Your Goals, Valencia, Katy Perry, The Maine, Oreskaband, and my favorite Angels & Airwaves. I missed Pennywise and Mayday Parade, but figured I'll try to catch them when the tour ends at the Home Depot Center in August. I met up with Lauren, Brianna, and Thierry throughout the day. We watched Valencia together, where one of the guys in the band decided to crowd surf on us.
