American Chophouse.

Ever been to 555 East in Downtown Long Beach? It's a place one can go to indulge at a traditional American steakhouse.  Fine dining right here in the LBC. Last night, I had the pleasure of treating Aaron and Lily to a really really nice dinner for their 8th anniversary. (a Best Man should never forget) yeah!

It's a pretty classy joint.  Kinda New York-ish.  There was a guy playing piano the whole night. The service was excellent.  Warm bread was served promptly by the time we made our wine selection.  For appetizers, we had the 555 Dungeness Crabcake, Seared Ahi, and Baked Goat Cheese with Roasted Garlic.  I had the Rack of Lamb, and Aaron and Lily each ordered the Filet Mignon.  For sides we had Sauteed Mushrooms, Asparagus Dijonnaise, and the Macaroni and Cheese. We ordered a bottle of Neal Family Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon based on a recommendation from a review I read on Yelp. It was absolutely perfect with our meal.  Everything was delicious.
